The United Methodist Church continues to lead the way in responding to the Flint Water Crisis.
Although the State of Michigan has stopped providing bottled water, significant concerns about the safety of Flint water remain. Two United Methodist churches serve as Help Centers, providing our neighbors with access to water filters, nutrition education, stress management classes, and other resources such as skin cream.
Every aspect of life in Flint has been touched in some way by the Water Crisis. Healing Flint will require more than bottles of water – it will require years of nutritious food, enhanced education, job-training, and crime-reduction ministries. Your gifts make these projects and ministries possible.
